Jack is a success-oriented, common sense management professional with diversified levels of interest and experience from entrepreneur in Latin America (flower exports, real estate development, and restaurants) to corporate team player for U.S. and Latin American multinational companies.

As a founding partner of Gente Oil and Valore Energy, Jack negotiated the risk service contract with the government of Ecuador for Gente after winning an international bid. Revenues from the project reached US$ 120 Million annually. He was instrumental in acquiring the Block 20/Pungarayacu field for Ivanhoe Energy, the largest oil deposit in the country, and was key in drafting the new risk service contract model.

Jack started his distinguished career in finance and banking with Citibank Ecuador. After Citi, he was a VP for Irving Trust (Bank of New York) Latin America Division, VP and Deputy Manager Banco de Credito (Luis Noboa Group Ecuador) where he created value and unique solutions for corporate entities and private individuals.

Currently, he is a partner with MakEnergy and has assisted in originating and closing local and regional corporate banking transactions.
