He has a proven track record in cultivating strategic relationships, driving revenue growth, and building alliances and partnerships. Rodney has expertise in developing and implementing effective business strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and maintaining long-term customer relationships.
Rodney’s career highlights include serving as the Executive Director of the County Officials Association of Tennessee, where he championed significant revenue growth and led successful lobbying efforts. He has also served in various leadership roles in Anderson County Government, including County Trustee and County Commissioner. Rodney is certified in various areas, including Association Executive, Finance Master, and Public Administrator.
He is currently involved as a co-founder with Renew My Technology which handles automating government renewals and he is a Partner with the Market Street Properties group.
Rodney has previously served as President of the Tennessee County Trustees Association and has held a leadership position at the National Association of County Collectors, Treasurers, and Finance Officers. He currently serves as a Board Member for the Museum of Appalachia, a Smithsonian affiliate. In 2013, he was recognized as a top 40 under 40 leaders by the Greater Knoxville Business Journal.
Rodney is a graduate of the University of Tennessee and received his Master’s from the University of Catalonia in International Affairs and Diplomacy.
