She began her career in corporate consulting as Director at JLM Consulting, where her biggest successes involved helping clients navigate solutions to insolvent local and state pension funds, in addition to implementing and growing several grass tops campaigns and coalitions from the ground up. Early in her career, she worked at a large public affairs firm servicing clients in the Fortune 500 space, where she helped to manage clients in the education, energy, tax and health care fields.
